Saturday Lunch at Kentrout

After this we drove an hour or so outside Meru to a quiet, Eden-like area called Ken Trout, where the men joined the group. Beautiful flower and shrub plantings surrounded benches and picnic tables adjacent to a palm-thatched building whee freshly cooked chicken and trout dinners were available. Calla lilies grew wild. A friendly lizard eyed us from a table top. A band of monkeys cornered Nicole and Ravena in the ladies‘ toilets for a bit. After a most tasty luncheon, we wandered about the beautiful grounds, spied an albino baby monkey clinging to his mom‘s front, and fed trout which jumped up in appreciation..
